A week ago, a new Pokémon Mystery Dungeon game was announced, this time for the Nintendo 3DS! Nintendo announced a 3DS sequel for the spin-off series through Japan’s CoroCoro magazine. The title of the game translates roughly as “Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Magnagate and the Infinite Labyrinth.”
This month’s CoroCoro issue showcases images of the game, which shows a 3D visual style and the presence of Unova region Pokémon whithin the adventure. Pikachu, Snivy, Oshawott, Tepig and Axew will be your selections, unlike the 20 characters rooster we had on the previous games.
It appears that the “Magnagate” mentioned in the subtitles refers to a type of portal in the game that teleports your Pokémon team into dungeons, some of which you can create by using an AR feature presented in the game and scanning objects perhaps.
Despite the fact that Nintendo of America still hasn’t had anything to say about the game yet, the game will almost certanly be localized for Western audiences, like most Pokémon titles are.
What do you think about these new game? Screenshots soon!
